Trolleycar 20, with a cross-bench trailer car and a parcels van in tow, stops at Laxey car shed, crosses the viaduct over the rushing Laxey river then, from the same location above the car shed, we hear it clattering along the far side of the glen.

The reversal ritual at Ramsey terminus on August 16th. Trolleycar 20 uncouples, moves forward and reverses through the crossover. The trailer car rolls by gravity past the crossover and the trolleycar reverses through the crossover and couples up to the trailer.

A journey on the I.M.R., the 2.05 p.m. train from Douglas to Castletown, on August 17th, recorded from the first carriage behind 2-4-0 locomotive 10, G.H. Wood, of 1905. The train climbs the 1-in-65 gradient out of Douglas, calls at Port Soderick station, echoes through the disused Santon station and clanks into Castletown's glade station without platforms.
